PATINA AND THE CUSP OF SPRING

An acquired change of a surface through age and exposure that is usually associated with the changing quality of copper or bronze. After it has been allowed to weather, it creates a new green (verdigris) surface.

With colours inspired by different metallic sheen’s, these symmetrees are captured just before the oak tree transforms and takes on a new green surface of its own. It is on the cusp of spring.
