Scrubbed Up to Scrub’d Up

As the days start to shorten, the ground has been cleared ready for the plough to carve a furrow and replant seeds for a new season. Some will grow in the space once occupied by the Badsell Oak Tree. The new plants will establish themsleves quickly, making the most of the available light.

Clearing a way for new life, The Badsell Oak Tree has found a temporary resting place offering sanctuary to wildlife while it awaits its fate. Time to consider how the mass of scrubbed up limbs, trunk and roots can be disentangled, sawn and shaped to  arise again, scrub’d up.
